Reebok All-American Showcase

SHOWCASE OVERVIEW:
The 2009, All American Showcase is a non-padded combine and skills tutorial, for high school athletes looking to demonstrate their talents for prospective local and national college and preparatory institutions from across the country. Each athlete will be evaluated in:
•    40 yard dash
•    20 yard shuttle
•    3 Cone drill /Standing Broad Jump
•    Skill Development
•    One on ones with various skill groups

 

The All American Showcase will feature some of the hottest high school prospects from more than twenty high schools throughout the state of Massachusetts.  Also in attendance, and lending to the excitement of the day, all participants will be evaluated by some of the most influential high school, preparatory and collegiate institutions from in and around New England. This Year’s Showcase will feature representation from schools such as: UNH, U-Albany, Stony Brook, Wagner, Assumption, Endicott, Stonehill, Springfield,  Curry, Gunnery Prep, Cushing Academy, Salisbury Prep, New Hampton Prep and Vermont Academy etc.

 

WHEN:
July 18, 2009
•    10AM to 1:30PM  

WHERE:
Chelsea High School, Chelsea, MA
State of the art facility with field turf, Olympic size track.

WHAT TO WEAR:
Sweats, shorts, running sneakers and cleats.
 Financial Grants Apply
The results of each participant’s performance will be posted on the internet and sent to over 300 schools
Each athlete will receive a gift bag and combine t-shirt.

 

Showcase Director

Sean Stellato is a former professional Arena Football player, Division I football and basketball player at Marist College. Sean holds numerous records at Salem High School for football.  He was All-New England and M.V.P in football and basketball while at the Gunnery Prep School.  Sean was the leading receiver at Marist for the 2000 and 2001 seasons and selected to the MAAC All-Academic team for football and basketball.  Sean shares his knowledge from numerous speed schools and training facilities he has attended.  He is the director of the Speed Enhanced by Stellato Clinic.  Sean has run the clinic for four years.  He has worked with over two hundred athletes who have excelled at all levels of competition up to and including the professional level.  He is a Certified Personal Trainer, Agility and Quickness Trainer, Certified Peak Performance Consultant, Certified in CPR and a Certified NFL Players Association Contract Advisor.  Sean is also author of the book 4th and Long: The Odds. Sean completed the Boston Marathon in 2007 and 2008.

 

Charity

CHARITY:

Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem is a non-profit organization that provides much needed support to disadvantaged youths in the NorthShore.  A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the Club and the Jared Coppola Fund.

 

 

STAFF:                                                                         

Staff will consist of current NFL Scout, former NFL player, former Arena football player, Elite Speed Coach Ron Jones and current high school coaches.
